ANNUAL REPORT - 2022 - 2023
With great pleasure and honour, I present before you the Annual Report for the academicyear 2022-2023 of this great institution. We have a great academic year 2022-2023. Starting with our faculty and students. We have 1308 students on roll along with58 teaching staff 44 non teaching staff, overall 102 staff members. A very cordial atmosphere with guided freedom is created in the school at all time. The entire teaching faculties are well qualified, dedicated and experienced to guide and motivate our students. Almost all the teachers had undergone number of Capacity Building programs and orientation sessions arranged by CBSE through virtual and physical mode and other experts as well. This helped the teachers to be aware of new system of evaluation and new methods of teaching learning process. Academics Our school reopened with full fledge after 2 years long gap of Covid 19 pandemic on 1st June 2022. We had a number of new students in LKG as well as in other classes. Regular parents teachers meeting were called to discuss their wards performances. This year also special classes in holidays, morning and evening classes hold for class 10th students as well as remedial classes for LKG to 9th standard students. The motivation class was conducted for students of X standard by Dr. Siddik K.P, Asst. Professor Sir SayedCollege,Taliparamba and Adv.Rizwana respectively to motivate the students for their future endeavors. A self deffence class was conducted for girls by Janamaithri civil police officers, Mrs. Sajitha and Mrs. Praseetha. An awareness class on drug abuse was conducted for parents by P.Balakrishnan Nair DYSP of Kanhangad and for students by Mr. Ranjith and Mr. Pramod, civil police officers,Janamaithri police, Hosdurg. And also conducted an awareness session on sports injuries by Dr. YogeeshKamath of KMC Hospital Mangalore. A medical checkup camp was conducted by Health Department. As a part of Reading week celebration a Book fair was conducted and large number of parents and students were visited the fair.
Activities Variety activities and competitions were organized and conducted in the school by different clubs like Literary, Maths, Science, Social, IT, Eco and Seed club of our school to enhance and exhibit the talents of our students. School parliament election was held and Fathima .M, Fathimath Hamda Khalid, Jameel Ruwaisi were elected as school Leader, Arts Leader and Sports Leader respectively. Adv.NA Khalid was the chief guest of the investiture ceremony. PTA general body was held on November 26th 2022 from which a new executive committee was formed. All the festivals were celebrated in our school with great pomp and show. Various competitions like Quiz, Essay writing, Poster making, Colouring, Flower carpet, Mehandi designing , Drawing, etc,. were conducted in the school. Different important days were also observed to make the students to understand the importance of it. Like Environmental day, Independence day, Gandhi Jayanthi, World AIDS day, Republic day etc...
Various study tours were organized for the students LKG to X standard. The Seed club members visited the Gandhi ashramam and contributed an amount to their refreshment fund. A new initiative was taken by our English club. They launched Radio crescent FM to enhance the confidence and communication with the students and to showcase their talents. It became the throb of every heart. Our KG, 1st and 2ndstd department also conducted various activities like colours day celebration to develop confidence and creativity among the students.
This year we started the Karate class and hundreds of students get the training by a male and female trainer. Our students were conducted an anti drug awareness cycle rally and also joined in the anti drug human chain organized by District Police Department. Consequently we are maintaining 100% result in class X CBSE board exam. Co-curricular activities Students in large numbers of our school participated in school Kalotsava, Sahodaya Kalotsava, Sub District Kalotsava, Sahodaya sports meet, and Sub- District sports meet etc.. Our school secured the championship in Category II Boys and Category II Girls in Sahodaya Athletic Meet and secured 4th runner up position in Sahodaya Kalotsava. In Arabic Kalotsava our school secured III position out of 62 schools. Hundreds of our students took part in our Annual athletic meet which was inaugurated by the Sub Inspector of Police,Hosdurg, Sri. K Rajeevan. Two days long meet really brought out a tight competition between 4 squads. Though this is a brief report, I tried to put almost all the activities we had in this academic year. Coming to the conclusion let me take this opportunity to thank each of our Management committee members, who are the light in guiding and supporting us through out. I remember the sincere support of PTA committee members too. I also thank all my dear Parents, who are the real power in the growth of this prestigious Institution. Finally let me thank our Staff members both teaching and non-teaching for their vibrant support each day and every time for the smooth functioning of this great Institution.
